Restaurant Balthaz'art - Frédéric d’Ambrosio
Lovers of tasty and creative cuisine will not be disappointed
Balthaz'art
By Frédéric d’Ambrosio

In this retro-chic bistro located in a vibrant, lively street in the Croix-Rousse, fans of fine dining sit down in delightful anticipation of enjoying a bespoke cuisine firmly rooted in tradition, yet with a contemporary twist. Frédéric d’Ambrosio, who is Lyonnaise through and through and who used to work at ‘l’Auberge du Père Bise’ and ‘l’Argenson’, creates spicy, aromatic, bistro- style dishes that are largely inspired by his world travels. He is ably supported, it has to be said, by Fatima Zerrouki in the kitchen. Fans of tasty and creative cuisine will be welcomed to the dining area by Aurélie Girier, and will not be disappointed if they order haddock tarama with smoked paprika, maize tortillas and hemp seed oil or the restaurant’s great speciality – Moorish tartare. Refreshingly new experiences are guaranteed!
