Restaurant 33 Cité - Frédéric Berthod
Le 33 Cité quickly established itself as the winning number among the gourmands of the Cité Internationale.
33 Cité
By Frédéric Berthod

In the shade of the mature trees in the city’s green oasis of ‘la Tête d’Or’ park, Frédéric Berthod draws his inspiration from fresh, seasonal market produce. The charismatic chef skilled at seasonal cuisine from the Cité Internationale is making mouths water in this business district with his fresh fish and seafood, including scallops, fine cod fillets and wild bass, etc. Lovers of prime cuts of meat rave about his unsurpassed Milan veal schnitzel and prime Argentine rib-eye steak. Freshly cooked dishes are served in light surroundings behind the large picture windows looking out over the ‘Salle 3000’ amphitheatre, or in the more intimate atmosphere of the attractive mezzanine which seats 40 and which can be hired privately. As soon as the sun is out, his baked egg with thin slices of Ibérico cured ham and chorizo mousse are great to savour in the sunshine or under the shade of a parasol.
