Frédéric d’Ambrosio, a Lyon man through and through who has worked at ‘l’Auberge du Père Bise’ and ‘l’Argenson’, offers bistro-style dishes inspired by his travels around the world. The result is full of flavour and creative. The chef, a master with flavours, herbs and spices, delights fine diners and is ably supported in the dining area by the welcoming and delicately attentive Aurélie Girier. The bistro-style atmosphere, with its additional contemporary touches, has a retro-chic vibe which fits in perfectly with the Croix Rousse. Here, a melting crispy- sweet veal, venison bourguignon and a Moorish-style Montbéliarde beef tartare (a house speciality) can all be savoured. This establishment’s charm works whether you are dining as a couple or in a group and is illustrated by the complementary wine list and regularly updated menu.
