Restaurant Emile Job - Éric Lépine
On days when fishing was good, don't miss the frying of bleak Saône dishes
Emile Job
By Éric Lépine

Here, on the banks of the Saône, between Dombes and Beaujolais, three generations have worked hard to build the reputation of the Hôtel du Rivage, renamed Émile Job in 2003 in honour of the present chef’s father-in-law. Éric Lépine, who trained in the kitchens of Pierre Orsi, and his wife, Isabelle, love their region and are willing to share its secrets. The delightful surroundings of the welcoming dining area and terrace looking out over the Saône allows the authentic, market-produce inspired cuisine to be truly appreciated. This, together with the lovely wine list, will leave you in no doubt that this is indeed a blessed region. Come and enjoy delicious frog legs, chicken, meat and fish tastefully prepared by the chef. And, when in season, do not miss out on the fresh whitebait – simply delicious!
