Located just a stone’s throw from the centre of Lyon and the legendary Halles Paul Bocuse, the pretty, contemporary décor in Olivier Delbergues’ restaurant is the perfect setting for a cuisine that is in tune with the times. This former chef of the ‘Verre et de l’Assiette’ in Vaise, who trained at ‘Le Bec’, ‘Zuddas’ and ‘Têtedoie,’ offers a semi-gourmet menu which sings with finely prepared seasonal produce served, where necessary, with a touch of flamboyance. The chef’s skill at playing with flavour is illustrated by the shredded lobster, celeriac and crab meat with crushed cocoa beans, carrot and coffee mash and porcini mushroom crisp. The magic is continued in the dining area where his wife, Maryline, offers a wine list with over 200 suggestions. No need to count up to 101, as these are just a few of the good reasons to make the gourmet trip!
