
The pink façade of this pretty establishment shines out like a beacon in a district where good places to eat are not so easy to find. The fact it is so popular with businessmen from the surrounding area, many of whom choose the restaurant to conclude their business in style, is not down to pure chance alone. In the kitchen is Thierry Jandard (Guy’s younger brother), who makes the beautiful regional ingredients sing, ably supported by Nicolas Vernay who trained in Jean Brouilly’s fine kitchens in Tarare. This dynamic duo create tirelessly chic menus, which include salmon lightly cooked in the restaurant’s own smokehouse and the famous sweetbreads with wild mushrooms. Guy, who is always present, fine tunes the wine list and the desserts, and his daughter, Fanny, maintains the friendly atmosphere enjoyed by everyone in the dining area. In a nutshell, it is a beautiful (and gourmet) family affair!
