Restaurant L'Ame Soeur - Olivier Paget
It's hard not to succumb to the timeless charm of plates filled with game
L'Ame Soeur
By Olivier Paget

Olivier Paget really has no need of lawyers to plead his case – all the evidence points in his favour! This former student of Pierre Gagnaire, Georges Blanc and Pierre Orsi has set up his establishment just a stone’s throw from the new law courts where he proudly displays his ‘toque’ (or ‘chef’s hat’ award) and entertains magistrates, plaintiffs and other passing gourmet diners. The restaurant, named after a Côte-Rôtie wine produced by Stéphane Ogier, predominantly uses seasonal ingredients to create market-inspired, hearty and cheerful dishes which reflect the chef himself. Chilled courgette crème, squid stew, fillet of red mullet, baked langoustines and saddle of rabbit rognonnade, etc. The 25 Euro menu is a unanimous favourite for its exceptional value for money. Acquitted, My Lord!
