Welcome to the hilltop in Croix-Rousse and to traditional ‘canut’ style surroundings with stone walls and the customary ceilings. The restaurant has a soul which is maintained by Frédéric Therriaud. You come here to enjoy the best in life, in freshness and in flavour. The chef brings back whatever inspires him from the market a few steps away and delivers a generous menu in all seasons and beautiful dishes to eat. He learnt his trade with Le Bec, Têtedoie and Mariller and his cheerful, artistic character is apparent both in the kitchen and on the restaurant’s walls, where work by artist friends is exhibited. This, together with the warm welcome, results in an establishment where gourmet classic dishes with a contemporary twist, such as marrow bones with truffles, stewed fillet of veal and crème brulée flambéed in almond liqueur can be enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere.
