Located just down the road from the Jongieux vineyard, Les Morainières invites a gourmet and sophisticated break away from it all. Located in a former storehouse made of rough stone where the Alps and the Jura mountains meet, has breath-taking views over the Rhône and the surrounding hills and mountains. However it is the cuisine, even more so than the view, which is stunning. It is finely crafted, creative, respectful and exquisite all at the same time. A first Michelin star was awarded in 2007, and was quickly followed by a second in 2012 which encouraged the young chef to continue in his daily quest to surprise and delight with his cuisine. The cuisine, proudly rooted in showcasing ingredients from the lake and areas in the region, can be enjoyed in surroundings which combine tradition with a contemporary designer touch and is beautifully served in the dining area.
