Anne-Sophie Pic, ably supported by her husband, David, had imagined her restaurant in the Drôme as a cosy, intimate and timeless cocoon. It now has three Michelin stars proudly displayed over its doors. The dining area is arranged around a crystal chandelier into three spaces lit by large picture windows which look out over the gardens. These three different areas enjoy the common thread of soft, feminine colours with natural hints and small details which serve as a reminder of the establishment’s history and the proprietor’s fondness for places in Japan. A bold and instinctive cuisine, where unexpected flavours and complex tastes are made to sing, is served in these cosy and understated, sophisticated surroundings. Be transported by the oysters with coffee, wild venison and white millefeuille with Tahiti vanilla, and enjoy this chef’s brilliance.
