Three generations have worked in the esteemed kitchens here – grandmother Yvonne, father Michel and now Bernard, a pupil of Paul Bocuse and Pierre Orsi. The old 18th century building, ideally located between the Monts d’Or and the beautiful Lyon countryside, provides a setting which is both chic and delightfully rustic, and where no comfort has been spared. This semi-gastronomic restaurant regales fine diners with the delights of frog legs meunière, or the quite rightly renowned chicken in a cream and morel sauce. The traditional, local, tasty dishes naturally invite you to enjoy the wide choice of regional wine available and, as a result, much happiness! In the summer, you can enjoy the beautiful terrace shaded by ancient plane trees. Ah! – life is to be enjoyed in this attractive residence, where you will be tempted to stay all year, if only for the ‘craquelin’ (a crunchy cream puff), which is the restaurant’s signature dessert.
