Building on the work of the legendary Paul Bocuse in establishing Lyon as an international beacon for gastronomy, the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises endeavour to promote our values, our quality, and our expertise at every opportunity.
Locally, we strive to live out and promote our spirit of excellence by participating in gourmet events: local markets, Fête des Crus du Beaujolais (which will become Bienvenue en Beaujonomie next year), cooperation with the Syndicat Interprofessionnel de la Fourme d’Ambert (Fourme d’Ambert Union), and many more.
More generally, our chefs work tirelessly in pursuit of a common goal: to fly the flag for Lyonnais cuisine. Every year, Lyonnais chefs take part in various promotional events held throughout the world including Chicago in 2013, Genova and Vietnam in 2014, Tel-Aviv in 2015, etc.
The Toques Blanches Lyonnaises have also made a clear commitment to supporting applications to host events in Lyon (International City of Gastronomy, host city for the World Association of Chefs’ Societies’ Congress, etc.).
All of these initiatives demonstrate the unfailing commitment by the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises chefs to contribute to the Lyon’s global reputation for gastronomy, for which they have become the ambassadors over the last 80 years.
